It's been a while since I've updated my blog. I have been doing quite a bit of knitting. Mostly just finishing other people's projects. But I also have been doing a bit of pattern writing. I'm trying to get some pattern support for my friend Nicholle. She's been dying and spinning her own yarn and they look awesome. We're going to be at a few functions this summer. Pictures to come....
The second thing - I'm boycotting Teavana. Long story short: I was applying for a job there and they strung me along and decided to hire someone else. They did not tell me, even after I sent several emails inquiring about my employment status. I am very disappointed by their lack of communication and find them unprofessional. It's a shame really.... They have good tea and all the teas are gluten-free. My sister has dubbed the boycott "The Costa Mesa Tea Party". Catchy.....
In the meantime, I will be looking for other opportunities..... Wish me luck!
